I interviewed for Point72’s Business Analyst role with an average-difficulty format that mixed warm-up chat with finance-focused questioning.

Warm-up + baseline background — I started with brief questions about the firm and my basic experience, then we reviewed my resume/LinkedIn.
Core question set — I was asked about current affairs, hedging strategies, and sector-specific topics, moving from general to more investment-leaning areas. Outcome: No offer; the process emphasized being up to date and able to speak through hedging and sector knowledge.
