I interviewed for a difficult Point72 Business Analyst role where the major hurdle was a substantial, take-home style modeling case.

Two-week public-company modeling case — I received a case with about two weeks to complete an investment analysis of a public company.
Four-statement Excel model from scratch — the work involved building a full four-statement financial model using public data directly in Excel. Outcome: No offer; the takeaway was that the workload and depth of the financial model were the defining difficulty level.
