After a recruiter touchpoint, I had a first interview focused on business/BD—mostly to confirm my background and interests.

That was followed by a model test that came before my resume was shown to PMs.

The model test felt very approachable. It was timed for about 45 minutes and I did it entirely in Excel. The questions were described as more of a general modeling assessment rather than something niche, and it didn’t drag on or require a complicated setup.

Overall, it was an average-difficulty loop: a quick BD conversation, then a short but structured Excel-based test. I walked away feeling like the test was straightforward enough to perform on, but I didn’t receive an offer.
