I went through a structured four-stage Account Executive process that emphasized both process knowledge and technical depth.

Recruiter alignment stage — I started with the recruiter to ensure alignment on the opportunity.
Interview sequence (three stages) — I then had three direct interviews that started with the hiring manager and moved up through the organization.
Technical and process-focused questions — Across the interviews, I was asked lots of questions related to process and technical areas, and I had time to ask my own questions. Outcome: No offer, but the takeaway was that it was thorough, with plenty of room for my questions.
