When I interviewed, it was framed as a team-handling role rather than something purely individual contributor.

The conversation heavily revolved around current fintech and the UPI ecosystem, how the market was competing, and what it would take to keep people engaged over time. A strong background with MS Excel mattered to the way they thought about the work.

The topics also pointed toward people retention, training, and developing teams as part of the job. I went into it feeling like the interview would be manageable—almost like it would be straightforward to crack if I could clearly speak to the business context and my Excel comfort. Even with that, I didn’t end up receiving an offer.
