Paycom Account Executive interview experience

The interviews themselves felt straightforward, and I could tell they were trying to move quickly. I ended up declining an offer because something didn’t feel right to me—there was a sales pressure vibe that made it feel like they were pushing for a quick yes rather than having a genuine conversation about fit.

Even though the process was easy from a logistics standpoint, I didn’t want to step into a role with that kind of momentum. I didn’t accept the offer, and my reflection was that a smooth process doesn’t always mean the culture or expectations will match what I’m looking for.
