Los Angeles, CAPosted Nov 2020 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My interview process was very quick and not very in depth, and there wasn’t any technical portion at all.

That absence of a technical component explained, at least to me, why the company didn’t seem to fully understand how to develop software to modern standards.

The difficulty was marked very easy, and I felt like the process didn’t test what I expected it would test. There just wasn’t enough substance to evaluate my technical ability in a meaningful way.

I didn’t receive an offer, and honestly the interview left me questioning how serious they were about evaluating software development skills. The lack of technical depth was the most noticeable gap.
