My initial screening required a group phone call with representatives from the company.

Throughout the conversation, I felt like they weren’t truly interested in my candidacy.

It wasn’t just that the call went quickly or felt formal—it felt dismissive. Even though I couldn’t point to any one exact moment, the overall energy from the company made me feel like I was being evaluated without much openness.

I didn’t receive an offer. Looking back, the hardest part wasn’t the questions themselves—it was the feeling that my candidacy was never going to go anywhere from the start.
