Palantir technologies Forward-Deployed Engineer interview experience

My first step was an easy coding round, and then the onsite portion turned out to be much harder than I expected. The onsite included a learning and a decomposition component, and both of those were described to me as difficult.

The vibe was surprisingly good for how intense it got. Most of the interviewers were enthusiastic and made the experience feel collaborative rather than hostile, and my recruiter was especially helpful. I ultimately didn’t receive an offer, but the way the rounds were run left me feeling supported even when the technical parts were challenging.
