From the start, the process felt more like an evaluation of how I think than a checklist.

The recruiter screening felt unusually conversational, and instead of treating it like a formality, it turned into a real discussion. After that, I moved into a technical round that drilled into problem-solving under ambiguity.

The technical work wasn’t presented as “just write code.” The real focus was how I approached an unclear situation: structuring my thoughts, communicating trade-offs, and staying calm while adapting mid-solution. I remember the problem being algorithmic, but I felt the bar was more about how I debugged and modified my approach as new information came up in real time.
