Kirkland, WAPosted Dec 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I did a phone interview with HR first, and then I met with the hiring manager.

Most of the questions were centered on soft skills, so the interview felt more about how I worked and communicated than about grilling specific engineering details.

The conversation flowed pretty well—I felt like I “meshed” with the interviewer. By the end, it led to an offer that was good enough for me to accept.

What stuck with me was how direct and human the process felt. Even without technical depth driving the conversation, the way the hiring manager interacted made it clear they were evaluating overall fit, not just answers on paper.
