PACCAR Software Engineer interview experience

It included interviews with several department managers, a panel with future colleagues, and a presentation where I summarized a project I’d led. They even provided lunch, which made it feel more like a full immersion day than a quick screening.

It wasn’t described as extremely hard, but the length and number of people meant the day asked for consistency—staying sharp through multiple conversations and then presenting clearly.

I didn’t get an offer, but I came away with a stronger sense of how different leaders viewed the work and what kinds of colleagues I’d be interacting with.
