The recruiter side of the process was frustrating because communication wasn’t great, and the role apparently got filled even though I already had an interview scheduled without being told.

Despite that, the phone interview itself was about thirty minutes.

The questions were basic and focused on my past experiences and qualifications. The process didn’t feel very deep technically—it was more like an initial confirmation that I matched the general profile.

Even though the interview went as expected, the lack of communication about the role being filled left a bad taste. I didn’t get an offer, but the bigger issue was definitely the timing and transparency rather than the interview content.
