I was flown to their facility at the company’s expense, and the whole experience felt genuinely positive.

The day started with a 30-minute recruiter interview, and then I had to present a project I’d done before to an audience of about seven people.

After the presentation, I went on an hour tour of the facility. Then I did another 30-minute interview with potential teammates, and the day ended with a final interview with a director manager.

Everything was welcoming, and the people I met seemed kind and easy to talk to. I didn’t end up getting an offer, but it was still a strong experience because it combined project communication with meeting the people and seeing the environment.
