I didn’t get an offer, but I got a clear picture of what Oliver Wyman evaluates: structured thinking under uncertainty, strong communication, and fit with the consulting lifestyle.

Case + behavioral + situational judgment — I was assessed via business scenario case work focused on approach and data evaluation, plus behavioral and fit questions about achievements, motivation, and culture fit; there was also a scenario about handling disagreement with a project lead. Outcome: I didn’t move forward, and the takeaway was to be ready for both open-ended problem-solving and coaching-style communication.
