The process felt fairly typical, but the interviewer I spoke with had a chill, relaxed style.

Still, I found it too difficult overall, largely because the questions were anchored heavily in my resume.

I noticed a pattern: they weren’t exploring completely new territory so much as digging into the concepts and experiences I’d already written down. That meant I had to be very clear on the details behind my own background.

I didn’t get an offer. The reflection I had afterward was that the interview was less about improvising and more about how completely I could explain and back up what I claimed on my application.
