The goal of my process was pretty clear: I was going to meet multiple members of the future team to evaluate both technical ability and how I would work with people socially.

That meant I went into several technical interviews, and the format emphasized different seniorities.

The whole thing felt deliberately designed around team fit as much as competence. I ended up preparing for a variety of technical discussions, expecting that the questions could vary depending on the interviewer’s level.

I didn’t get an offer. My reflection was that it felt like the company was trying to make a careful, relationship-focused decision, but the workload of multiple technical panels made the process intense.
