Northwestern University Research Analyst interview experience

There were two rounds: the first involved general committee members, and the second was with the PI I was especially interested in. After the two interviews, the PI and committee would meet and rate me based on my scores and knowledge and experience.

It felt difficult because the structure implied multiple evaluation lenses, not just one conversation. I did receive an offer, but what I remember most was the sense that the outcome depended on more than any single interview—my performance was being compared across the group.
