I went through a three-interview sequence: a recruiter check-in, then a colleague discussion, and then a half-day case study.

The rest of the process felt fairly normal for a consulting firm, but the case study was where things got frustrating. It was set up poorly, and it ended up feeling subjective rather than structured around consistent evaluation. I remember leaving the case with the sense that the format didn’t give me the cleanest shot to demonstrate how I worked, which made the overall difficulty feel higher than it otherwise might have.
