I applied online and then connected with a recruiter to talk through my background.

About a week later I interviewed with a couple consultants in the office, and then a few weeks after that I sat down with the market VP. Between those meetings I completed an application and finished an online cultural assessment, and then I met with the market VP again. He indicated he wanted to hire me, but they had to hold off because they hadn’t secured an anticipated contract yet. Even though the conversations went well, the waiting around for business timing ended up being the real tension in the process.
