Nomura Software Engineer interview experience

It felt like they were trying to understand how I’d worked through problems and what my background looked like from their side, rather than immediately going deep on algorithms.

A few steps later I was invited to an assessment center. That day included two group tasks, and I also had to give a presentation about the company and the different technology roles. The process was a mix of communication and collaboration, not just pure coding—everything felt more like evaluating how I functioned in a structured setting than testing a single narrow skill.
