I joined a Zoom meeting where the interview was centered on two LeetCode-style coding problems.

The first one asked me to find the second maximum element in an array, and the second was the classic “Number of Islands” challenge.

The coding portion felt fairly direct and problem-focused, and it was all carried out over video. I came away with the sense that they were mainly evaluating how I handled standard algorithmic questions under the interview format, and that wasn’t enough for them to move forward.
