I reached out via LinkedIn and started with an HR interview that was pretty classic: my background, what technologies I’d worked with, whether I understood what the company does, and why I wanted to join.

After that, they sent me a home assignment in a private repo. The task was to build a socket app that handled up to five concurrent users. Through the socket, clients sent messages; I had to filter some messages, close the application under a specific condition, and keep writing logged data to a file repeatedly. I also had to set up a collaborator so someone could review my work.
