New Relic Software Engineer interview experience

There were four rounds total: a standard DSA stage, a system design discussion, then a hiring manager round, and finally a managing director round.

What stood out was the clear emphasis on problem-solving skills rather than being locked into a specific programming language. I remember the updates being sent out along the way, so I wasn’t left completely guessing where things stood.

I didn’t end up receiving an offer, but the experience felt orderly—each stage had its own purpose, and the communication kept the timeline from feeling entirely opaque.
