My process followed a simple three-step ladder.

First, an HR person called and asked questions to confirm I fit the role. Next came a technical interview delivered by project leads in a panel format, and it was described as difficult because they evaluated a full range of skills.

If I passed that technical stage, there was another interview with the director. The director interview was positioned as the final gate, and the expectation was that passing it would lead to an offer. Overall, the structure made the difficulty feel concentrated rather than spread thin.
