My process began with a recruiter phone screen where we went through my resume details and I also learned about the company culture, including health care plans, insurance, and paid time off.

We talked through my background with a focus on SDL from my previous work experience.

It wasn’t an intense technical stage at all—it was more of an alignment call, and it helped set context for what the role and environment might look like. I never received an offer afterward, but the call itself was straightforward and informative, and it gave me a clearer picture of how the company talks about benefits and fit.
