Naval Nuclear Laboratory Software Engineer interview experience

Early on, I was asked about location preferences, and it stayed pretty practical and administrative in tone.

Later I received an email from a manager who wanted a phone interview. After I accepted that role, the process shifted into the clearance pathway, which made the overall timeline feel like it included more than just interviewing.

The interview portion itself was described as average difficulty, and while I didn’t end up with an offer, the biggest takeaway was how clearly the process extended beyond the conversations and into background requirements.
