I had a notably different interview experience that felt either unusually unstructured or extremely straightforward, depending on how the process was run.

Unclear job scope / “interview blind” — I got an email from HR about an interview without knowing which role I’d been selected for; the job posting was removed, so the first round felt like going in without context.
Multi-person phone round — During the call, many interviewers sat together and introductions weren’t clear, so I had to clarify who I was speaking to.

Outcome: I didn’t move forward; the takeaway is that a lack of role clarity made it hard to prepare, even when interviews are conversational.
