My interview began with an algorithm-focused warm-up: I was asked about sorting and arrays, then I got pulled into a broader set of conceptual C++ questions.

After that, the format shifted into coding tasks—there were two coding questions I had to work through.

Once the technical portion was done, they closed out with behavioral questions. The overall mix felt like they expected me to be comfortable moving between fundamentals, small algorithmic reasoning, and explanation of my approach, not just writing code.

I left feeling like I understood what they were assessing, even though I didn’t receive an offer.
