Mozilla Software Engineer interview experience

CanadaPosted Jul 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My interviews started with a mix of behavioral and technical questions, and the technical part leaned heavily on mostly straightforward LeetCode-style problems.

What mattered most was not just getting to an answer—it was how clearly I explained my reasoning.

During the coding portion, I had to walk through my thought process and explicitly discuss time and space complexity. The difficulty level felt light overall, and I came away feeling like the bar was mainly about communication and fundamentals rather than any brutal algorithmic puzzle. I didn’t receive an offer, but the experience itself felt manageable.
