The process started with a chat with a technical recruiter, and then I met a manager who asked for STAR-style behavioral examples.

After that, I completed a one-hour take-home exercise submitted online. The final step was a set of interviews totaling about two hours, covering technical thinking, role relationships, and a review of the take-home.

Most of it was rigidly structured: questioning without much exploration, even when I tried to engage. Still, the communication felt clear and consistent, and I wasn’t ghosted while I was in the middle of it. I felt the experience was lighter and more positive than other big-tech processes I’d encountered—no leetcode-style gauntlet, no hostile vibe, and no extreme time
