Motional Software Engineer interview experience

After that, the next step was a system design interview where I had to design a security system using computer vision, which made the domain feel very concrete.

Then I ran through two rounds of LeetCode-style coding. I remember the mix being deliberate: system design to test how I structured a problem, and multiple coding rounds to verify algorithmic ability.

I didn’t get an offer. Even so, the journey felt balanced and coherent, and the computer-vision security design part was the most memorable element because it connected the technical threads into one scenario.
