A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn and tried to pull me into applying, basically encouraging me to jump on the opportunity.

I moved forward, but then the recruiter later said they didn’t want to move forward.

The whole thing left me feeling like the process was too inconsistent to trust. There wasn’t much of an interview journey—just a quick push to engage and then a stop. I was left with wasted time and the feeling that coordination (or at least follow-through) wasn’t there.

In the end, I didn’t get an offer, and the bigger takeaway was how quickly momentum disappeared after the initial contact.
