Torrance, CAPosted Apr 2021 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for a Software Engineering-adjacent role and went through a multi-person, two-day interview sequence that felt personal because they referenced my resume.

Phone interview with recruiter — I started with a brief phone chat focused on my experience and why I was interested.
Round with four site/department interviewers — I then spoke with four people from the team, including the hiring manager, each for about an hour over two days.
Shared ratings + next stage — They told me each person would rate me and then invite top candidates to an onsite interview. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer, but the takeaway was that the interviewers engaged with my background and tailored the discussion.
