I went through a higher-intensity technical evaluation that felt more demanding than the typical resume/behavior loop, and it didn’t result in an offer.

Round 1 (multiple technical-focused interviews) — several hour-long conversations that covered knowledge and project experience; I was expected to discuss projects in depth and ask thoughtful questions.
Round 2 (very technical) — a highly technical interview that felt unpleasant and more like knowledge testing than resume discussion. Outcome: No offer; takeaway: when interviews skew technical, be ready for direct, deep knowledge checks rather than storytelling alone.
