I experienced a short, two-part process that emphasized personality/fit and role understanding more than technical problem-solving.

Interview 1 (behavior/personality-focused) — questions about my mindset and how my experience translates to the role.
Interview 2 (technical-leaning but still experience-based) — a conversation where the hiring manager wanted to hear the lessons and information I took from past experiences. Outcome: No offer; takeaway: even when there’s a “technical knowledge” label, they often validate it through what you’ve learned and applied.
