Goleta, CAPosted Dec 2023 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through a multi-week interview journey with an HR call, a chief engineer interview on Teams, and a final onsite round, ending in no offer.

HR screen (phone) — a short conversation with a senior talent acquisition partner focused on behavioral questions.
Technical interview (Teams) — a chief engineer interview after the HR step; the camera on their side was turned off due to confidentiality.
Final onsite interview (Goleta, CA) — an onsite round with the chief engineer and someone below him. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer; takeaway: be ready for staged evaluation and expect a slower timeline from screen to onsite.
