Buffalo, NYPosted Oct 2021 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for the Software Engineer role with an intense, structured Teams process using behavioral storytelling, and it felt like the team was closing out as the day neared 5pm.

Virtual interviews with three teams — I did multiple 1-hour rounds with three separate teams, and each team asked similar questions.
STAR-format behavioral focus — The interviews expected my answers in STAR format, and it was set up like consistent behavioral screening across rounds.
Tone + timing — Everyone was friendly and professional; in the last round, I felt they were eager to finish quickly because it was nearing the end of the workday. Outcome: I didn’t move forward, but the process felt organized and fair, centered on STAR stories.
