My entry point was surprisingly email-based.

I first received a message asking about my interest in the job and some basic questions, and I had to respond through email. After that, I was pulled into a video interview.

I expected the video chat to be more of a light screening, but it ended up going deeper than I thought it would. The conversation became more technical and detailed, and I felt like I had to justify my background with more specificity than I’d planned for.

The process didn’t end with an offer, and the main memory I have is how the interview intensity ramped up once the video round started.
