I went through what felt like an academically styled interview where the focus was more on customer problems and potential solutions than on trivia.

The panel was mostly people I already knew from prior connections, and that made the conversation comfortable—at least while we were talking.

They walked me through the kinds of scenarios they cared about, and I discussed how I would approach solving those problems. I got the impression from the senior person on the panel that the interview had gone well and that I’d likely hear back within about 10 to 14 calendar days.

Instead of closure, I got silence. I was ghosted completely—no response from the recruiter, the person who referred me, or anyone else involved. I was genuinely speechless
