Milliman Financial Analyst interview experience

No offer

Posted Jul 2012 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My interviews felt relatively straightforward, with no major curveballs or unusual questions.

Referral-based start — In one path, I got connected through a campus career center and then went through a pretty standard interview.
Standard conversational interview — There weren’t off-the-wall questions; it leaned toward straightforward discussion.
Hiring manager screen — In another path, the hiring manager’s questions felt like “softball” topics, and they didn’t push into hypothetical behavioral problems. Outcome: No offer in both, and the takeaway was that even when the questions are easy, demonstrating a clear, comfortable fit still matters.
