Boston, MAPosted Apr 2016 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed via a document-heavy pre-step and then moved into a timed video response interview plus an Excel-based report deliverable.

Pre-interview information + writing sample — I submitted extra materials (including transcripts, my motivation for Seattle, and a writing sample).
Timed one-way video interview — I recorded responses to questions with a set time to think before answering.
Excel data analysis assignment — I received client data and had to produce a report after analyzing it in Excel. Outcome: No offer, and the takeaway was that they tested both written communication and your ability to synthesize insights from Excel data.
