Indianapolis, INPosted Mar 2015 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I had a positive, laid-back interview journey starting with a recruiter-arranged montage video and ending with a culture-focused onsite with several actuaries.

Recruiter + montage video — I applied through a recruiter and completed a montage video interview with responses to common questions.
In-person interview (healthcare-consulting context) — Over about four hours, I met multiple actuaries; many asked about my programming experience.
Principals’ focus — Separate meetings with equity principals emphasized culture and ethics and discussed traits they value. Outcome: No offer in the record, and the takeaway was that communicating your background clearly and engaging with culture/ethics questions mattered.
