I interviewed for a Software Engineer role and found the early screening oddly misaligned with my resume, with an otherwise typical process timing.

Interview round (shortlisting) — I was shortlisted despite a skill mismatch between what the role seemed to want and what was on my resume; I felt filtering could be more careful.
Other later steps — I was told they mainly care that I have experience building Spring Boot microservices, even if I don’t have the specific missing skill. Outcome: I didn’t move forward; my takeaway was to highlight Spring Boot microservices impact early, because that seemed to matter most.
