I interviewed for Software Engineer at McAfee and went through multiple rounds with a heavy programming/puzzle component.

4 rounds total — The loop had four interviews with more programming than theory.
Programming + puzzles — I was asked to write three programs: two were basic and one was notably tougher.
Language flexibility + networking — I could use any language, and there were also networking questions. Outcome: No offer; the takeaway was that the evaluation emphasized hands-on coding plus puzzles and some systems/networking coverage.
