I cleared a large number of technical interviews quickly, but then a final extra round with an inexperienced interviewer led to rejection.

Recruiter alignment + multiple technical rounds — I went through many technical discussions over a short window with senior engineers and leadership.
Additional unexpected technical interview — after clearing everything, I was asked to do one more round where the interviewer seemed to be uncertain and the questioning felt misaligned. Outcome: I didn’t get the offer after the extra round; takeaway is that late-stage interviewer quality can swing outcomes.
