I interviewed for Software Engineer and ran into a low-level coding test that set an unusually harsh tone from the moment I arrived.

Onsite coding test — I was immediately led to a cubicle for an impromptu ~1.5 hour low-level coding test, with no friendly opening.
Interview (verbal portion) — There was a verbal component that felt fair and fairly standard compared to the coding portion. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer, and my takeaway was that the experience emphasized heavy testing pressure and very poor interpersonal atmosphere.
