My experience with the process started promisingly with an HR screening, and then I was scheduled to meet with a director.

Right before the interview, though, it got cancelled with only about fifteen minutes’ notice. I was left waiting, and after roughly two weeks of silence, I reached back out to get the meeting rescheduled.

They agreed to set up another time, but the follow-through was frustrating. I joined the call and waited for about forty-five minutes, with no one connecting and no real progress happening. The mismatch between how the process was supposed to feel and how it actually played out was hard to ignore.
