Lucid Motors Software Engineer interview experience

The overall vibe was very engineering-forward: I was asked about fundamentals spanning automotive engineering and systems-level thinking, and the conversations kept circling back to whether I could explain concepts clearly under scrutiny.

In one of the technical rounds, I had to walk through how an ECU works, including its inputs and outputs, and then describe failure modes and mechanisms related to control. Another round leaned more toward how systems get validated at the vehicle level, focusing on testing and validation strategy rather than just theory. Even though I felt my explanations
