I didn’t get far into the process.

I was rejected by recruiters due to age, and I was told that the company wouldn’t interview anyone above a certain age threshold. The online algorithm also seemed to reject candidates quickly, within hours.

What made the experience especially frustrating was that I was being screened out before any real discussion about the specifics of my background, so there wasn’t a chance for the interview to reflect my fit for the specialty they were recruiting for.
